The spiritual enemies, to being in possession of a happy, tranquil, holy soul, are identifiable within that complex personal drama of constantly swaying back and forth between the emotional extremes of ecstasy and despair.
Satan and Lera thrive where group-living, mob behavior, group lies, emotional excess and deficit, mass conformity and anti-intellectualism prevent the individual from rising above the herd to follow the path laid out for them by the Mother and Father, along the route to heaven here on earth, and in the next world, where a soul at peace, logical but with healthy feelings manifested, allows the spiritual energies from God to well up in one and through one.
Ecstasy and despair exemplify a tormented soul, lost, collectivized and permeated with loathing towards the self and others, oozing from every pore.
