Fear Not

 

I am going to quote from a weekly homily published in The Cavalier Chronicle, and the homily is from the Revised Common Lectionary, 1992 for Sunday, 6/25/2023. The article is on Page 7 and is entitled, Fear Not, I Am With Thee. I will quote the article and then respond to it: “The Bible is full of God’s assurances. They have powered the faithful through the ages. Because God is on our side, This week in church hear how we are overcomers . . . Do not be afraid . . . Genesis 21:8-21.”

 

My response: This reassuring promise from God is inspirational and comforting. With God’s help and guidance, you will overcome most of the time.
