Multiculturalism

 

I watched a 9/28/2017 Prager U video, entitled Are Some Cultures Better Than Others? narrated by Dinesh D’Souza.

 

He argues that Western culture is one of the best the world has ever seen (I argue the best.) and it is so not because it is Euro-centric, but because it is a perfect master culture to which local cultures could blend themselves with and adapt to.

 

I believe this culture could have been devised by anyone, and that all peoples could have invented it and, just because whites invented it does not invalidate it as a candidate for what the universal master culture should be.

 

D’Souza sees America as a uni-culture but a multi-ethnic society, for whom multicultural is a subversive, destructive foreign influence here, if it is too strong and influential.
