I will copy the following homily and then comment on it. On Page 7 of The Cavalier Chronicle is the weekly homily, published in the paper on 6/21/23. The homily is from the Revised Common Lectionary, 1992, for Sunday, July 30, 2023, and its title is Spread The Word: “What has God been doing in your life? It is good to pause and think about that. When you do you’ll find that God has done plenty. Why not share that? Begin to share God-at-work this week in church . . . tell of all His wonderful works . . . Psalm 105: 1-11, 45b.”
My response: Share the good news that Jesus and the benevolent deities are helping us all the time, and are here to aid, comfort and sure. Bank on that.
